  • EveningKeep dinner simple after the long day.Hotel restaurant or somewhere nearby; the Hua Hin Night Market only if everyone still has energy.

Plan loose. The drive is 2.5–3 hours on paper, but with grandparents, kids, a lunch stop and three cars, treat today as a relaxed transfer day — not a dash.

DAY 03 MON · 7 DEC Hua Hin
Choose your own day

Split the group, at your own pace

Relaxed & cultural

The giant Luang Phor Thuad statue, peaceful shaded grounds and fish feeding — easy for grandparents, aunties and kids. Go early; it gets hot after 10am.

Active & kids

Vana Nava Water Jungle, beach activities, or a full pool day.

Shopping & air-con

No need to rush — pack up slowly, then head north

  • MorningBreakfast, a last beach or pool, and pack.
  • ~10:00amCheckout from the Hyatt.

What it costs

A comfortable planning estimate

Per person, all in except shopping. Costs land lower if we keep meals and activities simple; higher with premium massage, rooftop dining, more seafood or more shopping.

HotelSGD 625–750
FlightSGD 550
Food & drinksSGD 400–600
Attractions, massage & activitiesSGD 150–250
Car rentalSGD 150–225
SIM, insurance & bufferSGD 100–150
Bangkok local transport & GrabSGD 80–130
Fuel, tolls & parkingSGD 40–70

Assumptions: hotel based on ~SGD 250–300 per room per night, roughly 5 rooms across 6 nights. Car rental based on 3 cars at ~SGD 150 per car per day, mainly for the airport → Hua Hin → Bangkok runs. Grab and vans cover Bangkok after the cars go back on Day 4.
